Shivarathiri
It is celebrated on the 6th Night of dark Phalgun (Feb or March). On the auspicious day devotees observe fast and keep vigil are night. On this day Alaghu Nadhuthal is performed in our neighbour temple of Arulmigu Angala Parameshwari.
That is God’s weapon of Sulayutham is placed on needle and it stay there for 2 to 3 minutes without any support.
Special pooja is performed throughout the night and large number of devotees spend the night singing hymns and devotional songs.
